Bots - Changing the way we engage with technology
Level: 100
Track: Developer
Bots have been built into devices and operating in the background for many years, but recently software companies started to exploit their capabilities beyond simple querying of information followed by a programmed response.
Businesses and developers will be able to use and make bots for the newly announced Microsoft Teams using the Microsoft Bot Framework.
Developers can now build bots that interact with users inside a channel, in addition to interacting with users in one-on-one private chats. In addition, developers integrating their applications directly into tabs within the Teams client can now give users a way to link their colleagues to content buried deep in the integrated app.

Join me as I will explain
• What are bots?
• Build Light, Talk Fast
• How the Bots in Microsoft Teams can interact with a user in a one-on-one scope and allow users to interact naturally through chat.
• Demo - Creating bots using Node.js
• Testing bots - Bot Framework Emulator
• Deploying bots to Microsoft Teams
