SharePoint Apps for the IT Pro - What you need to know
      Level: 300
      Track: IT Pro
By now, every SharePoint IT Pro is probably aware of the fact that Full Trust Code (aka the farm solution) is not cool anymore. We can’t really say that we regret Microsoft’s choice for the new App model: On far too many occasions we had to watch our beloved and carefully nurtured SharePoint farm go down because some developer type messed up big time - “But it works on my machine!” Running code outside of SharePoint that can still interact with content within SharePoint sounds trivial at first but it absolutely isn’t. In this session you’ll learn how App authorization works and how to prepare your infrastructure to host SharePoint apps reliably.

Welke keuzes zijn er te maken, wat zijn de voor en nadelen van deze opties. En niet onbelangrijk hoe richt je dat dan in? Change Management! - Design Solutions for a SharePoint landscape in flux
      Level: 200
      Track: Developers
The introduction of SharePoint 2013 turned the development paradigm on its head! This strong push towards decoupled low trust solutions is just the beginning of great change for the platform. With many organizations still using earlier SharePoint versions there's risk of expensive refactoring of legacy solutions when moving to SharePoint 2013 or beyond. This session considers the implications of recent SharePoint changes, and discusses how you can design your solutions to minimize the pain of future upgrades.

SharePoint Online: A friend or a foe?
      Level: 100
      Track: Office 365
This is an important question many customers ask themselves. Microsoft is heavily promoting their Cloud services with SharePoint Online as their showpiece. SharePoint Online offers Intranet and Extranet business solutions and contains the latest SharePoint features. Although this sounds great, many customers aren't sure and hesitant of the Cloud. They really wonder: is SharePoint Online a friend or a foe?

      The presentation covers the following:
      • A look at the history and evolution of SharePoint Online
      • Real world SharePoint Online Intranet Solutions
      • An Extranet business scenario with SharePoint Online
      • Overcome Cloud challenges such as Governance, Unified User Experience and Hybrid Solutions
      • The main differences with SharePoint On-Premises

      Level: 300
      Track: IT Pro
Certificates play an increasingly important role in SharePoint 2013. As well as protecting data, they are one of the fundamental building blocks of service interaction between service applications and across products such as Lync and Exchange. With the introduction of Office Web Apps 2013 and Workflow Manager as well as the Cloud App Model, certificates are now effectively a pre-requisite for a complete SharePoint deployment.
This session will de-mystify which types of certificate are needed, where they are used and how best customers can manage the certificate lifecycle for SharePoint 2013, Office Web Apps and Workflow Manager. Also covered will be client browser considerations and approaches to automating configuration with Windows PowerShell, along with certificate requirements for Office 365.

Cloud computing today is enterprise software's version of the buffet: With so many options, where should you begin? Should you go for the whole smorgasbord at once, or pick and choose the menu items that are best for you?
